Chair Massage

$1.00 per minute, usually 15 minutes

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule and for group events. They run usually 15 minutes per person with $1.00 a minute making it $15.00 per massage.

Hot Stone and Bamboo Stick

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote increased circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones and release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating. These typically run close to 1 1/2 hours. Cost is $70 and if aromatherapy oils are added, it is $75.

Bamboo stick massage is a unique massage which uses actual bamboo sticks of varying lengths that are warmed. Generally, long strokes are used. Benefits are much the same as the Hot Stone, although the sticks do not get as warm as the stones. It also runs close to 1/ 1/2 hours. Cost is $65 for the regular bamboo stick massage and for aromatherapy oils, the cost is $70.

Note: I do, on occasion, run specials of these at reduced costs.

Reiki

$vary per senior, student, and adults

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on or off of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Seniors (65 and up) and students- $30

Adults- (below 65)-$40

Infant Massage

Infant Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system, and reducing problems with colic and gas.  These are done in client's home and I act as a facilitator teaching the massage to the parent. Session varies, but may run about 1 hour or less. Cost is $40 and you will receive a small bottle of oil along with an infant massage booklet.

Ayurvedic Massage

Ayurveda is a holistic way of healing and has been used in India for thousands of years. Yoga is also an extension of Ayruveda. The massage incorporates special herbs in a carrier oil (s). The oil used is based upon your dosha or body constituency. To determine that, you arrive a few minutes early to complete a form that gives me an idea of what oil to use. I also use a Kansa wand for a facial. The wand is wooden with a round metal end. The metal comes from India. The wand promotes increased circulation to the face and is very relaxing for clients. I use another Kansa wand for the feet using Ghee or oil, or shea butter. The wand makes the face and feet feel refreshed and wonderful. The cost for this massage is $10 extra so for example, $60 for adults under 65 and $45 for seniors/students. The massage takes longer and runs close to 1 1/2 hours.
